Japanese sims in SL are like exotic untouched realms of inspiration and marvel. Few are the ones that even think about delving in there, but ocasionnaly, a landmark gets discovered, handed around, and hysteria ensues. This is not one of those links. Not yet.
For this week, a personal choice of mine! The gallery of AKIBE, a rather particular artist from Japan.
Seemingly minimalistic yet awfully complex computer altered drawings... It's all about the details.
A nice selection of pictures are exposed there in a tower.

Les sims japonais dans SL sont comme des mondes intacts exotiques d'inspiration et d'émerveillement. Peu sont ceux qui ont ne serait ce que l'idée de s'y aventurer; mais quelque fois, un landmark est découvert, passé de main en main, et s'ensuit une hystérie collective. Ceci n'est pas un de ces landmarks. Pas encore.
Pour cette semaine, un choix personnel! La galerie d'AKIBE, un artiste très particulier du japon.
Des dessins retouchés à l'ordinateur faussement minimalistes et terriblement complexes... Tout est dans les détails.

Opening of a new gallery with an exhibition of Maeve Strom, a talented artist who sadly enough didn't get the chance to show her works in world before. This ends now, luckily for us!

Inauguration d'une nouvelle galerie avec une expo de Maeve Strom, une artiste talentueuse qui, malheureusement, n'avait pas eu l'occasion de montrer ses oeuvres in world jusqu'à présent. Mais ce n'est plus le cas, heureusement pour nous!

A monochrome exhibition. I for one love black & white since it reveals much about the artist's work and way of playing with lighting and shadows. Go there and see for yourself :)

I have seen very few galleries with such tasteful lighting. The pictures there are perfectly lit by glowing neons, for a very nice effect, enhancing the already beautiful exposed pieces.
J'ai vu peu de galeries avec un éclairage aussi approprié. Les photos y sont parfaitement éclairées par des neons lumineux du plus bel effet pour les relever.

Tales in Shadow and light
As expected, I spent a rather enjoyable moment while visiting this exhibition. Simone Alva's pictures match very well with Cienega Soon's, exposed on the top floor.
Comme je m'y attendais, j'ai passé un bon moment en visitant cette expo. Les photos de Simone Alva vont vraiment bien avec celles de Cienega Soon, exposées sur l'étage du haut.

On the same sim as the Cannery, you'll be able to teleport to a most particuliar entrance to this exhibition and gallery... You have to see it! The exhibition itself is a refreshingly mystical experience.
